My Vision
At Jaina’s Artistry, my works help individuals who seek meaningful pieces that tell a compelling story, who value diverse artistic voices and who are willing to invest in works that resonate with their philanthropic spirits and personal aesthetics.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
When someone chooses a piece from Jaina’s Artistry, they are not just buying art. They are connecting with a story that represents an underrepresented community of black female artists. They are in art with a purpose, and in a mission to bring visibility to those who have been overlooked for far too long.
About the Artist
My name is Jaina Dotson
I've been an artist ever since I could remember, creating art before I even knew what it meant. My mom realized my natural born eye when I started painting at 3 years old. Since then, I have created art any chance I get and have taken art classes almost every year. I took classes in and out of school and was a part of a summer art program at the THEARC in D.C. which led me to display my artwork at the Corcoran Gallery. In high school, I took AP Drawing and AP Studio 2D and earned a 4 (out of 5) on both exams. My love for art steered me into the field of architecture which I now pursue at Tuskegee University. Physical artwork isn't the only way I express my artistry, I am also a dancer and musician!
